Background & challenges

Our partner ACIAA put us in touch with Abidjan-based Dream Cosmetics, which was looking to optimize its production process by improving the quality of its effluents. The aim of the project: to bring the effluent into line with current standards, and to provide treated water of a quality that would enable it to be reused in the production process.

This installation now makes it possible to:
- save up to 15,000 m3 of water per year (the equivalent of 6 Olympic-sized swimming pools!)
- reduce their carbon footprint in wastewater treatment by around 90% (up to 170 tonnes of CO2 per year).
