Dream Cosmetics
Background & challenges
Our partner ACIAA put us in touch with Abidjan-based Dream Cosmetics, which was looking to optimize its production process by improving the quality of its effluent.
The aim of the project was to bring the effluent into line with current standards, and to provide treated water of a quality that would enable it to be reused in the production process.
This installation now makes it possible to:
- save up to 15,000 m3 of water per year (the equivalent of 6 Olympic-sized swimming pools!)
- reduce their carbon footprint in wastewater treatment by around 90% (up to 170 tonnes of CO2 per year).
