Potabilizing a freshwater source withunYo
Discover our unYo® potabilization unit, an adaptable, semi-standardized technology to meet your drinking water access needs.
The ideal solution foraccess to drinking water in the isolated areas and emergencies
The unYo® is a drinking water treatment unit capable of filtering all types of fresh water to produce safe, high-quality drinking water.
It is available in a range of sizes and models, with a production capacity of up to 10 m3/h* (i.e., for a consumption of 500 to 40,000 people, depending on usage).
It can be used for :
- Supply a remote area with limited piping and decentralized water treatment.
- To compensate for the deterioration of a water source that has become unusable (drought at the usual catchment point, flooding, pipeline accident), offering the possibility of emergency intervention.
For water treatment efficient and sustainable
Equipped with a succession of technological building blocks and controlled by a PLC that manages the production and backwashing phases, the unYo® treats water without chemicals and with the fewest possible consumables, offering high autonomy at low cost per cubic meter.
A daily impact
Adopting our unYo® mobile potabilization unit not only means preserving water resources by using a robust treatment solution, it also means committing to a virtuous circle with positive social and environmental impacts.

Questions frequent
The unYo® uses advanced ultrafiltration technologies that kill 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.99% of viruses, while preserving natural minerals essential to health and eliminating organic micropollutants such as pesticides and endocrine disruptors (including PFAS). How does it work? Thanks to an ingenious combination of the following technological building blocks: - A series of media (such as activated carbon, which removes micropollutants, and activated glass, which eliminates suspended solids) - Followed by mechanical filtration of ultrafiltration membranes at the end of the process to limit bacterial growth. - Reinforced by low-level chlorination at 0.1 mg in a tank to secure water storage and prevent bacterial growth Combined with an automated backwashing system to ensure the unit's durability and performance (patented system).
The prerequisites for installing a mobile potabilization unit like the unYo® are as follows: - Provide an area of around 20m² accessible by truck (or helicopter, plane, barge or pirogue if the unYo® is a non-containerized modular skid). - A flat, sturdy surface capable of supporting its weight in water (e.g. concrete slab or pad). - A hydraulic and electrical connection system - Be close to a source of fresh water, with or without storage
Yes, the unYo® adapts to different climates, as we offer the option of tropicalizing the unit (moisture-resistant materials, integrated air-conditioning system, etc.). For example, we currently have units in operation in French Guiana and Guadeloupe. To find out more, take a look at our latest projects.

Filter end-of-life treatment is managed either by a recycling or regeneration process set up by the manufacturer (e.g. activated carbon), or by the collection and treatment of used filters by a specialist company.
