On March 5, 2025, the CFIA (Crossroads for Food Industry Suppliers - Carrefour des Fournisseurs de l'Industrie Agroalimentaire in French) took place. It's a unifying event that addresses current issues in the agri-food sector. Khaled Al Mezayen, founder and president of InovaYa, was present on our partner's stand, IFM electronic. He took the floor to respond to a key theme: "Sustainable water management in industry: reduction, treatment and reuse".

It was an opportunity to highlight our expertise with food industry manufacturers. We were also able to discuss the subject of micropollutants and their early detection.

Faced with increasing pressure on water resources, wastewater reuse is an essential solution. It involves capturing, treating and then reusing wastewater from industrial processes.

This approach not only preserves natural resources, but also limits waste and generates significant savings. In the food industry, reuse can be applied to cleaning, cooling or even indirect uses, depending on the level of treatment carried out.
