💧 Guarantee quality drinking water for sensitive populations.
🌟 On April 1, at a conference on "Adapting communities to new micropollutants" at the Aquapolis Expowe had the opportunity to highlight our collaboration with the City of Chasse-sur-Rhônesupported by Mayor Christophe BOUVIER, and with the law firm Hélios Avocatsrepresented by environmental lawyer Antoine Clerc, to improve water quality in local communities.
As an expert in environmental law, Helios works closely with local authorities and companies on environmental challenges (ICPE, ecological damage, etc.), particularly with regard to PFAS. For the past two years, we have been working closely with them on key issues such as legal watch and regulatory frameworks.
Located on the banks of France's most exposed river to chemical and nuclear pollution, Chasse-sur-Rhône town council wanted to control the presence of micropollutants in the water supplied to the town's children.
In June 2024, a filtration system was installed in two school canteens to significantly reduce the presence of PFAS in the drinking water distributed to 400 children. The system reduced PFAS levels in the water by up to 60%.
Building on the success of this first project, a second is currently under development for the temporary installation of a security unit in the playground of a school with 500 children. Our unit recYf unit is designed to clarify, disinfect and depollute water from a degraded network, removing contaminants such as PFAS and pesticides.
This joint speech was an opportunity to demonstrate our collective commitment to preserving water resources and their quality.
